First off I hated the All in one SEO pack, but WP is so not SEO frinedly so you definitely need this. I wrote my own WP theme that ranks well becuse I just did not like this plug in. If you do not write PHP then you no other choice, get this plugin. As far as comment spam blocking goes, get Spam Karma.
