Social Media Tip of the Day: Know the Difference Between a Business and Personal Profile

There is a fine line between your business profile and your personal profile in many of the social networking sites. MySpace makes it easy to build a presence specifically for your business, and as long as you keep a business look and feel about your page, there is no question. You need to be careful in Facebook and some of the other sites, though. Use a Facebook page for your business presence, not a profile – remember that these are “social” networking site. LinkedIn, however, is one of the better places for creating professional profiles.
