As a teacher, I see this ALL the time. Students don't get it until college if they're lucky. No one can edit their own paper unless time passes, and you don't become associated with it. It takes "new " eyes. So why not get a friend, or professional to edit. I do a little at http://sites.google.com/site/editinghelpsite/ but not at the moment for companies, more private like.
